The first song I sang for "Lama pitiya" in Sri Lanka Broadcasting Corperation with my cousin sister Buddhini Chathumadhuri.

When we recorded this song I was only 11years of age. l can still remember the date which we recorded this song and I entered to this Art field as a singer alias vocalist in 1988. It was a song for appreciate the exemplary role model of a teacher.


Sonduru Lowadha

 

The first song which l sang for the tele drama, titled "Himinethi Wasanthaya". As a matter of fact for this tele drama I took part as an actor too. It was a second leading role. So Sarath Gunarathna who directed this tele drama used my talents as a playback singer and as an actor too. So I played in my song. This was the first song I sang with my loving mother. In this song, the chorus was also included. Popular singer Chamika Sirimanna took part for the chorus. Lyrics by Sarath Gunarathna, Music by late Carlo Wijesiri. Veteran recordist late Marvin Benz who had done the recording. I should thank to late Shantha Wijethilaka for gave me this opportunity to sing a song for the tele drama first time in 1995.

Aa Manga Ketiy

 

This popular song I sang with my loving Mother for her songs Album titled "Awaare Pipie" in 1997.

This song was the diologue between Mother and son. In this song Mother advises her son How to become a successful human being in his life. Son obediently accept it. This song has became a super hit. It's popularity is still remaining.

This was a song about love and loneliness which I sang in 1999.

This song I sang with my loving Mother in 1999 for her song album titled "La Sanda Paayaa".

This song was a dialogue between mother and son. The theam of the song was son asks from his mother how to select a girl that she will make an ideal wife for him in the future. When former brigadier Ananda heard of our song "Aa Manga Ketiy", He liked it a great deal and conceived a desire to write a song for us in the same format, as a dialogue between mother and son. Through this song he was able to fulfill his desire. Later he became a buddhist monk. Now he is well known as ven Bhudhdhangala Ananda thero. 

Heena Ahuru

 

This popular song I sang with Kithsiri Jayasekara, Indikaa Upamaali and Nawarathna Gamage for Tele drama titled "Fantasy Avenue" in 2000.

 

This was the theam song of this tele drama. This song was about the freedom of youth feelings.
